Qiddiya Entertainment City

The Qiddiya Entertainment City project is a new greenfield megadevelopment outside Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

DCI designed and installed a complete web based monitoring system to provide designers, owners, and decision makers with real time baseline design data over a 625 square kilometer site. We designed, sourced, imported, and installed weather stations, robotic total stations, over 900 settlemnt monitoring points, inclinometers, tilt stations, crackmeters, extensometers, sound and vibration monitoring stations, and other sensors in a remote, difficult to access environment.

We connected them to the Saudi Telecom cellular network, and set up secure remote monitoring and data access via GeoComp's iSite Central

We also built a custom tension measurement system to allow Bullivant Arabia to efficiently test pullout strengths of self drilled micropiles and generate design loads for deep foundations on the site.
